This is WrestleMania 26 weekend but,It is a huge weekend for the UFC.
As the Ultimate Fighting Championship presents UFC 111 from Newark, NJ the Prudential Centrer
On Saturday March 27th on PPV (Pay Per View)

Here is a look at the three top matches on the Card...

Jon Fitch vs. Ben Saunders

Ben Saunders (8-1-2) will be stepping in for Thiago Alves against Jon Fitch (21-3, 1 NC) in a fight that hopefully will find a future welterweight contender. Fitch was victorious in his most recent bout in December at UFC 107 defeating Mike Pierce via unanimous decision. Saunders upset Marcus Davis at UFC 106 in November with a 1st round KO.

Fitch, who is 32, is a wrestler with serveral years of professional fighting experience. He had eight wins in a row to start his UFC career. He lost an August 2008 UFC 87 title fight against GSP, but has since won his last three fights.Fitch has gone to decisions in his last six fights.

Saunders, 26, Has a few losses under his belt since UF6.Saunders rebounded at UFC 106 with an impressive KO against Marcus Davis.

My Pick: Fitch over Saunders via decision

UFC 111 Co-Main Event: Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin UFC Interim heavyweight Tittle

Frank Mir (13-4) desperately wants to get another shot at heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar, however to do that he must get through undefeated Shane Carwin (11-0).
The UFC’s interim heavyweight Tittle is on the line in this one. Mir is coming in off of an 1 st round submission against Cheick Kongo at UFC 107 in December. Carwin’s last fight was nearly a year ago at UFC 96 where he earned a 1 st round KO of Gabriel Gonzaga.

Mir, 30, is a fighter who won 6 of his first 7 including the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 48 in June 2004. He couldn’t defend the title due to an injury resulting from a motorcycle accident, so Mir had to relinquish the belt. Mir has some huge victories included a victory over Brock Lesnar and a victory for the unified heavyweight title against Antonio Nogueira. He lost his belt at UFC 100 in a rematch with Lesnar but looked spectacular in his UFC 107 win over Kongo.

Carwin, 35, debuted in 2005 Carwin earned a 1 st round KO over Christian Wellisch at UFC 84, a 1 st round TKO over Neil Wain at UFC 89 and a 1st round KO over Gonzaga at UFC 96 last March.

My Pick:This will be a tooth and nail drag out fight with some heavy shots thrown by both fighters. In the end i do believe Carwin`s size will be too much for Mir To handle.

Carwin over Mir via TKO

Brock Lesnar will come out to shake the hand of Carwin after the fight to set up the next bout

Carwin VS Lesnar For The UFC Heavyweight Championship sometime this summer

UFC 110 Main Event: Georges St-Pierre (GSP) vs Dan Hardy UFC Welterweight Championship

George St. Pierre (19-2) will defend his welterweight belt for the fourth straight bout against British fighter Dan Hardy (23-6) in the main event at UFC 111. St. Pierre earned a five round unanimous decision over Thiago Alves at UFC 100 in July. Hardy was victorious over Mike Swick in November at UFC 105 via unanimous decision.

St. Pierre, 28, is arguably Canada`s greatest athlete. GSP currently has a six-fight wining streak.

Hardy, 27, is a British fighter who joined the UFC late in 2008 and has won all four of his fights in the octagon. Most recently against Mike Swick at UFC 105.

My Pick: It appears as Dan Hardy has a lot of confedence going into the fight, so did BJ Penn Matt Hughes an so on.Can anyone in there right mind think GSP can lose.

GSP says he is in best shape of his life,Can the guy get in any better shape.
GSP will knock Hardy down fast and continue to beat on him...

Georges St. Pierre (GSP) by submission late in the 2nd round or early in round 3

It should be a knock out weekend for whatever you like be it Wrestling or UFC MMA!!!!!
