 The Hockey Hall of Fame inductees have been announced and congrats to them all and it's a real shame that as a result of the selections groups lack of gray matter most sport talk radio discussions & those responsible for the written word have spent more time talking about why not vs why.

THere is no doubt in my mind and those that know the game and understand what Pat has done within the walls of hockey in Canada clearly desires to be inducted with this class. I'm not going to get pulled into the debate around why two women have made the grade and not Mr. Burns, and I don't feel this way only because he is fighting bravely for his life but right is right and it is really a shame that some people really don't get it.

Speaking of not getting it I wonder what X head coach of the Argos is doing, more importantly I wonder if Bart Andrus ever realized that you can't come up to the CFL and play NFL style football regarding systems. There is a difference just ask the head coach of the Grey Cup Champions.

The CFL season is getting ready to rock & roll and I wonder if the new head coach of the Argos Jim Barker is putting way to much pressure on himself to win the opener vs the Stamps. Coach I know you want to start the season off with a bang and show the rest of the league that the double blue will no longer be push overs but the multiple games vs the Cats and the Bombers will determine your fate in the east and the felling you'll have at the end of a successful season will dwarf the joy you'll feel with an early win over your old team in Calgary.

Last but certainly not least the decision made by the deep thinkers at the U of Waterloo to shut down the football program for the 2010 season as a result of 9 players testing positive for substance abuse redifines the saying "throwing the baby out with the bath water". I'll have more thoughts on that the next time out.
